Since gyms are closing and most of us are home and practicing responsible social distancing, most of us have had to create a workout space in our homes. If you’re like most people, the amount of workout equipment, types of exercises, and range of gadgets that can be used in the gym can make it very hard to pick and choose what the best options are for an economy and friendly home gym set up. When it comes to creating a home gym, start with the bare essentials, in this case, weights and bands. You don’t need a huge machine, you don’t need a bench right this minute, and you don’t need a squat rack unless you are committing. They are like the icing on the cake, not the cake itself. I compiled a list of items that I always recommend to my remote or in-home clients. A quality set up to get started should run no more than $200, and it will last you a lifetime.

On Facebook I am currently posting daily workouts on both the Goal Driven Habits page as well as a Goal Driven Habits group. So share this around with your friends who are in the same situation you are. All of you give us a follow and get access to a daily workout! Be sure to ask questions and engage with the community. There are a bunch of people all working towards their goals, supporting each other along the way will only make the journey easier!

You may have noticed these all have Amazon Affiliate links. As an aspiring Olympic athlete who works full time, any additional support that can help fund training and travel towards that goal is incredibly helpful. That is what these links do,  provide additional support towards the pursuit of the dream.
